Years of abuse due to frequent blowdrying and styling made my long hair dry and brittle. I've cut it short, just above the shoulder but I still struggle with getting it dry without the use of a hair dryer every morning. Since I always rush to work, I end up leaving the house with wet and unstyled hair.
Thank heavens for these two new products from Goody which I discovered in a recent launch event they did at The Spa in Bonifacio High Street. Goody, renowned hair accessories and styling tools manufacturer, has added these wonderful duo to their line-up of products -- the Goody Quickstyle Paddle Brush and the Water Wicking Detangling Hair Comb.
The Goody Quickstyle Paddle Brush and the Water Wicking Detangling Comb are two time-saving tools that remove 30 percent of water from the hair to reduce overall drying and styling time. Now, every woman, my happy self included, can spend less time
styling and more time doing things she truly enjoys.
The Goody Quickstyle Paddle Brush is designed for detangling and drying wet
hair. This revolutionary new paddle
brush allows for quick removal of excess water and styling with or without a
hair dryer. Its super-absorbent microfiber bristles wrap around wet hair like a
towel to absorb water with every stroke, while ball-tipped bristles detangle
and smoothen hair, remaining comfortable on the scalp.
The Goody Quickstyle Water Wicking Detangling Hair Comb, on the other hand, is a slim and full-size comb that separates and smoothens hair while wicking away excess water before leaving the shower. It glides easily through hair, detangling and removing excess water, while a convenient hook allows for easy access in the shower.
To test the products, guests were treated to an hour of massage by The Spa and a shower using Human Heart Nature bath products.
After the shower, I just squeezed out the excess water from my hair with towel then did about three run throughs of the Goody Quickstyle Water Wicking Detangling Hair Comb -- one on the right side of my head, then in the middle, then left side -- from roots to tips. More excess water dripped from my hair. I squeezed my hair again with towel then did about thrice the run throughs this time using the Goody Quickstyle Paddle Brush. No excess water dripped from my hair but instead, I felt the microfiber bristles of the brush wet from absorbing the water. Within just a few minutes of using the Goody Quickstyle Paddle Brush and the Water Wicking Detangling Comb, my shoulder length hair is almost dry and good to go without having the need to blow dry.
Since then, I've been using it everyday and I even brought them with me to out-of-town trips in Boracay Bicol and Baguio. And I will definitely bring the wonder products with me when I leave for Singapore and Hong Kong.
