Vintage Finds Flea Market

Over the recent years, Vintage has become the "in" thing when it comes to home decor, furniture and even fashion. Lucky for you if your relatives have been diligent and prudent in collecting and maintaining such items in good condition. If you don't have relatives who will pass on vintage items to you, you're still in luck because there's an upcoming bazaar for all things vintage and pre-loved.

The VINTAGE FINDS Flea Market at 10A Alabama St., New Manila, Quezon City is happening this November 12, Saturday, 10am-8pm and November 13, Sunday, 10am-5pm.

There'll be at least 20 merchants selling second-hand/pre-loved clothes, footwear, appliances, toys, books & magazines, school & office supplies, decor, kitchen & dining equipment, art supplies, bags & luggage and so much more -- still usable goods at almost-give-away super-low prices!

How to get there: On E. Rodriguez St., coming from EDSA, Alabama St. is the next street after Tomas Morato - turn into Alabama St., the venue is a few houses down, easy to find because of its really cool white & blue painted gate.

Christmas Cheers

Right after Halloween, the streets of Makati literally lit up to reveal shiny stars to signal the onset of the holiday season. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The air is now colder and is starting to "smell" like Christmas, too.

In my blog entry "From Under the Sea to the Stage" in May this year, I already posted some teaser information about the upcoming stage adaptation of Disney's The Little Mermaid animated film, based on the fairy tale by Hans christian Andersen.
