Colors of Hope and Unity

The Philippine flag's lively colors and spirit magnified by the show of support of the Empire State Building and Houston City Hall to the survivors of super typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda. To all those who are involved in the relief operations, keep the donations coming. God bless all of you and thank you.

Christmas Scene: Ayala Triangle Gardens

Since last year, Ayala Triangle Gardens have spruced up for the holiday season with lights and a light show. As an adult, I felt like a kid just staring up at the gazillions of color-changing lights that hung on every tree in the garden. Never mind that the huge crowd that came to ogle at the spectacle walked in every direction in the open space.

There's also a huge diorama of the Nativity and I mean HUGE! See it for yourself and bring along your family to enjoy a night of lights and sounds and good food from the row of restaurants in the area.

Christmas Cheers

Right after Halloween, the streets of Makati literally lit up to reveal shiny stars to signal the onset of the holiday season. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The air is now colder and is starting to "smell" like Christmas, too.

Stars shine along Ayala Avenue

To bring some holiday cheer to my work space, I bought this cute snowman that lights up in changing colors.

My personal Frosty perched atop my office computer

Heck, I also started my annual Starbucks planner quest...and my fill of Toffee Nut Latte, yum!

Coffee nights are here again!

Here's to a happy Christmas...let's spread peace, happiness and love, love, love. Mwah! :)

City of Lights

Been frequenting Eastwood City since last year and I saw the cluster of buildings featured here while it was still under construction Just recently, I went back and was amazed to find this colorfully lighted structure. This is located behind the newer Eastwood Mall, on the park where the dancing fountain is situated.

The lights change colors every 5 seconds and is a delight to watch while strolling in the Eastwood Mall park or while seated in one of the benches, under the stars, and feeling the cool night breeze.
